This policy describes how Sellerise collects, uses, and shares personal information.
For purposes of this policy, our website includes by definition, any web pages, interactive features, applications, widgets, blogs, social networks, social network “tabs,” or other online or wireless offerings that post a link to this policy, whether accessed via computer, mobile device or other technology, manner or means.
We collect personal information such as your contact information (e.g., name, e-mail address, mailing address) and billing information (e.g., payment card number, shipping address). When submitting personal information on an online form, we will identify which fields are required in order to fulfill your request. Additionally, our wireless network or web server automatically collects information about your device (e.g., IP address, operating system, unique identifying ID of your mobile device), click-stream information such as the address (or "URL") of the website that you came from before visiting our site, which pages you visit on our site or while connected to our wireless network, which browser you used to view our site and any search terms you have entered on our website or while connected to our wireless network.
While visiting our website, we may ask that you provide certain information. For example, we request personal information when you purchase services, sign up for our newsletter, participate in a contest or survey, contact Sellerise with a question or concern or apply for employment with Sellerise. When you apply for employment, we ask for your job interests, background and resume information, in order to process your application. Sellerise may also use third party providers of customer information to improve the accuracy and completeness of our customer database, to increase our understanding of our customers and to identify potential customers.
When you connect an Amazon seller account or another business-data source to Sellerise, we collect and process the data needed to provide the features you enable. Depending on the feature, this may include seller-account and marketplace identifiers; product, listing, catalog, ASIN, SKU, brand, and inventory information; order identifiers, order status, fulfillment, refund, reimbursement, and review-request information; sales, fees, costs, profit, settlement, payout, and manual-adjustment information; advertising campaigns, ad groups, targets, bids, budgets, customer search queries, and performance; Subscribe & Save statistics; keyword rank and Search Query Performance data; ratings, review content, alerts, support-case information, and related analytics and settings. The Sellerise MCP integration described below makes only an authorized, read-only subset of this information available to the AI client you choose.
We use the information you provide in order to fulfill requests for services or information; transmit your data to third party service providers; administer promotions; tailor advertising efforts; measure and improve the effectiveness of our website, our marketing endeavors or our products or services; tailor our online offerings to your preferences; administer surveys; and send marketing communications from us or third parties in which we feel you may be interested in or for other business purposes.
We use connected seller and business data to authenticate and maintain integrations; import and synchronize the data you authorize; provide dashboards, analytics, alerts, forecasts, support, and other requested features; calculate and present business-performance metrics; respond to support requests; secure and troubleshoot our services; prevent fraud or misuse; comply with law; and enforce our agreements. The MCP-specific purposes are described below.
While we endeavor to protect the security and integrity of sensitive personal information collected on our website, due to the inherent nature of the Internet as an open global communications vehicle, we cannot guarantee that any information, during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our system or otherwise in our care, will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others, such as hackers. In the event that we are required by law to inform you of a breach to your personal information we may notify you electronically, in writing, or by telephone, if permitted to do so by law.
We use technologies on our website to prevent fraud, improve security, assess website performance, deliver content to you that is relevant to what you view on our website and elsewhere on the web, and provide you with enhanced functionality.
A cookie is a small data file that a website may send to your browser and that may then be stored on your device. Our website uses cookies to simulate a continuous connection. Our cookies let us identify you when you use our website and "remember" information about your preferences and past visits, and allow you to move within areas of our website without reintroducing yourself. A pixel tag (also known as a "clear GIF" or "web beacon") is a tiny image – typically just one-pixel – that can be placed on a Web page or in our electronic communications to you in order to help us measure the effectiveness of our content by, for example, counting the number of individuals who visit us online or verifying whether you’ve opened one of our emails or seen one of our web pages.
Our website may also use other technologies to track which pages on our website our visitors view. This non-identifiable click-stream data helps us understand how visitors use our website. Our web server automatically collects the address of the website that you came from before visiting our website, which browser you used to view our site and any search terms you have entered on our site. Among other things, this information enables Google to generate analytics reports on the usage of our website. To opt-out of your Site usage being included in our Google analytics reports, you may follow these instructions. In addition to Google Analytics, you may have opted into other Google features or applications which interact with our website, such as Google signals, which may associate our or third-party website data to location- based analytics. Subject to your permissions with Google, we may have access to and use such analytics to better serve you marketing, enhance our website or identify store location nearest to you. You may access, manage and/or delete this information with Google by visiting myactivity.google.com/myactivity. Our website (including our mobile site and application) may use location-based services to verify your location, deliver you relevant content and/or advertising based on your location, as well as to share your location with our service providers as part of any location-based services we offer.
The above tracking technologies may be deployed by us and/or by our service providers or partners on our behalf. These technologies enable us to assign a unique number to you, and relate your website usage information to other information about you, including your personal information.
We also contract with a third-party advertising partner to serve ads on our behalf across the internet and sometimes on this site. They will collect and use anonymous information about your visits to and interactions with our website and other websites through the use of technologies such as cookies to personalize advertisements for goods and services. Opting out will not in any way affect your use of our site. Our website does not honor web browser do-not-track settings. Instead, to opt-out of behavioral advertising, follow the instructions above.
In addition to the specific situations discussed elsewhere in this policy, we disclose information in the following situations:
Affiliates and Acquisitions. We may share information with our corporate affiliates (e.g., parent company, sister companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control). If another company acquires, or plans to acquire, our company, business, or our assets, we will also share information with that company, including at the negotiation stage.
Other Disclosures with Your Consent. We may ask if you would like us to share your information with other unaffiliated third parties who are not described elsewhere in this policy.
Other Disclosures without Your Consent. We may disclose information in response to subpoenas, warrants, or court orders, or in connection with any legal process, in connection with a merger or acquisition, or to comply with relevant laws. We may also share your information in order to establish or exercise our rights, to defend against a legal claim, to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities, suspected fraud, safety of person or property, or a violation of our policies, or to comply with your request for the shipment of products to or the provision of services by a third party intermediary.
Public. Some of our websites may provide the opportunity to post comments, or reviews, in a public forum. If you decide to submit information on these pages, that information may be publicly available.
Partner Promotion. We may offer contests, sweepstakes, or other promotions with third party partners. If you decide to enter a contest, sweepstakes, or promotion that is sponsored by a third party partner the information that you provide will be shared with us and with them. Their use of your information is not governed by this privacy policy.
Service Providers. We may share your information with service providers. Among other things service providers may help us to administer our website, conduct surveys, provide technical support, tailor marketing and advertising efforts, process payments, and assist in the fulfillment of orders.
Also, Sellerise may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will not include your name or contact information.
We retain personal information and connected seller or business data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. In deciding how long to retain information, we consider the nature and sensitivity of the data, the services and features you use, security and fraud-prevention needs, applicable contractual requirements, limitation periods, and our legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
We maintain presence on several social networking and blogging platforms and we also incorporate some third party social networking features onto our website. Through these platforms and features, we receive some personal information about you and your use of social media. This Privacy Policy applies to that information as well. In addition, third party social networking platforms have their own privacy policies that explain how the third parties that provide them will use and protect your information. In accordance with those policies (and your privacy settings within your social networking accounts) information about your activities on our website (such as "Mary Jane ‘likes’ our tile") may be published to your social network.
You may use your Sellerise account settings or the contact information below to request access to, correction or updating of, export of, or deletion of personal information that Sellerise controls. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, opt out of marketing communications, or appeal a decision about a privacy request. We may verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may be retained where permitted or required by law. You may disconnect connected services and revoke an MCP connection at any time as described below. To submit a request, email [email protected].
Sellerise may offer a Model Context Protocol ("MCP") integration that lets you connect your Sellerise account to a supported third-party AI client, such as ChatGPT or Claude. The integration is optional, user-authorized, read-only, and limited to the Sellerise accounts, marketplaces, and feature categories you authorize. It serves only seller-authorized, post-processed, non-PII seller data and does not return Amazon customer personally identifiable information ("PII").
Data processed and returned. To authorize the connection, we process Sellerise user, account, and marketplace identifiers; the AI client's name and identifier; OAuth scopes and token and connection metadata; permissions; connection status; relevant timestamps; and request and token-issue counts. Refresh tokens are stored in hashed form. We also process the tool name and parameters supplied by you or the AI client acting at your direction, such as account, marketplace, date, product, order, reimbursement, support, settlement, advertising, keyword, review, search, filter, grouping, and pagination selections.
Authorized results may contain identifiers, metadata, metrics, and aggregate or item-level information concerning Sellerise accounts and Amazon marketplaces; products and catalog information; sales, orders, refunds, fees, costs, profit, and other financial performance; reimbursements and support cases, including case descriptions and draft text; settlements, payouts, and adjustments; advertising campaigns, targets, keywords, and customer search queries; inventory, listings, and alerts; ratings, review counts, trends, and limited review-title or phrase signals; search performance; Review Requester; and Subscribe & Save. Results may also include derived rankings, comparisons, forecasts, risk flags, summaries, recommendations, and pagination or display metadata. Order results exclude buyer contact, address, and payment-card data, and buyer or subscriber analytics are returned only as aggregates without buyer identities. The integration does not permit changes to Amazon or Sellerise accounts and is designed not to return passwords, authentication tokens, secret keys, or payment-card data.
Technical and security data. To operate and secure the integration, we process IP address, available device or session information, request date and time, method and endpoint, request or session identifiers, response status, errors, usage counts, and operational or security logs. Logs may contain the tool name and selected request parameters.
Purposes. We use connection, request, authorized seller, and technical data to establish and maintain the connection; verify identity and permissions; retrieve, calculate, format, and transmit requested results; provide support; monitor reliability and usage; enforce limits; prevent or investigate fraud and unauthorized access; resolve errors; and meet legal obligations. Sellerise does not use MCP requests or responses to train machine-learning or generative-AI models.
Recipients and AI-provider safeguards. At your direction, Sellerise transmits results to the connected AI client. We may also disclose integration data to Sellerise service providers under contractual restrictions; as required by law or to protect rights and security; and in a corporate transaction as described elsewhere in this policy. Under the Sellerise Terms of Service, sellers must disable optional model-training, model-improvement, and data-sharing features on every connected AI-provider account and may not connect an account if those features cannot be disabled. Sellerise does not authorize AI providers to use Amazon-derived data from the integration for model training. We assess each supported AI provider before use and reassess its privacy, security, and data-handling risks at least annually. The connected provider otherwise processes transmitted data under its own terms, privacy policy, and the seller's configured data controls.
Retention. Authorization codes expire after five minutes, access tokens after one hour, and refresh-token access and the connection no later than 365 days after issuance or renewal, unless revoked earlier. Hashed token records and limited revoked-connection metadata may remain until that scheduled expiration for security and audit purposes. Permission settings remain while your account is active or until changed or deleted, subject to legal and security exceptions. Seller data and operational or security logs follow the applicable retention periods stated elsewhere in this policy.
Your controls. You can revoke the connection and control which eligible Sellerise accounts, marketplaces, and feature categories are available in your Sellerise settings, where available, or by contacting [email protected]. Revocation stops future access but does not delete information already transmitted to the AI client; use that provider's privacy and data controls to manage its copies. You may also exercise the access, correction, export, deletion, and other privacy rights described above.
Sellerise participates in Amazon's seller solution ecosystem as both a Selling Partner Appstore software provider and a Seller Central Partner Network service provider. This means we offer software and services through Amazon-recognized channels that help sellers manage, analyze, and grow their Amazon businesses, and that the applicable Amazon access roles, service listings, data use, and security controls are subject to Amazon review, approval, and ongoing compliance requirements. Our Amazon integrations and related seller-data handling are designed to comply with Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy, Data Protection Policy, and related seller-data requirements.
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it. Our privacy policy includes an “effective” and “last updated” date. The effective date refers to the date that the current version took effect. The last updated date refers to the date that the current version was last substantively modified.
In some cases (for example, if we significantly expand our use or sharing of your personal information), we may also tell you about changes by additional means, such as by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address we have on file for you. In some cases, we may request your consent to the changes. To the extent that our policy changes in a material way, the policy that was in place at the time that you submitted personal information to us will generally govern that information.
