Connect AI assistants to Sellerise with the AI Connector

Updated on July 09th, 2026

You can connect AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude to Sellerise. Once connected, your AI assistant can answer questions using your Sellerise workspace data for connected or shared Amazon accounts.

The Sellerise AI Connector is optional, uses Sellerise OAuth, and is designed for read-only access to Amazon seller analytics.

Check your access eligibility

Make sure you have:

An active Sellerise account with AI Connector access enabled.

At least one Amazon seller account connected to Sellerise. Demo accounts cannot authorize AI Connector access.

A ChatGPT or Claude account that can add apps, connectors, or integrations.

Connection methods

Choose the method that works for your AI assistant:

  • Apps and connectors: connect Sellerise from ChatGPT Apps & Connectors or Claude Connectors.
  • Sellerise account controls: review or remove connected AI assistants from Settings > MCP.

Before you start

  • A Sellerise account with the Amazon seller data you want the assistant to use.

What the agent can access

After authorization, the AI client receives the mcp.read scope. This allows the agent to retrieve available Sellerise workspace data for your connected or shared Amazon accounts, including account, marketplace, product, finance, advertising, and performance analytics.

Sellerise AI Connector is read-only. The AI client cannot use this connection to change your Amazon account, Sellerise settings, listings, pricing, inventory, campaigns, orders, payments, or other configuration.

Team and workspace access

The AI Connector can only use Sellerise data available to the Sellerise account that authorized the connection. If your Sellerise account has access to shared Amazon accounts, the assistant may be able to answer questions about those shared accounts.

Your ChatGPT or Claude organization may also control whether connectors are allowed. If you do not see Sellerise in your AI assistant, ask your workspace admin to allow third-party connectors or apps.

Can't connect to the AI Connector

What can cause this:

  • Your Sellerise account is not active or does not have AI Connector access enabled.
  • You are signed in to the wrong Sellerise account.
  • Your ChatGPT or Claude workspace has disabled third-party connectors.
  • Your Sellerise AI connection limit has been reached.
  • You are using a Sellerise demo account.

What to do:

  • Confirm that you are signed in to the Sellerise account with the Amazon seller data you want to use.
  • Ask your ChatGPT or Claude workspace admin to enable third-party connectors.
  • Remove an older connection from Settings > MCP, then try again.
  • Contact [email protected] if Sellerise still does not appear in ChatGPT or Claude.

Getting access denied

What can cause this:

  • Your Sellerise account does not have access to the requested Amazon account or data.
  • The AI Connector is not enabled for the Sellerise account you used to sign in.
  • The active connection was removed or expired.

What to do:

  • Sign in with the Sellerise account that has access to the data you want to use.
  • Check that the Amazon account is connected or shared with your Sellerise account.
  • Reconnect Sellerise from ChatGPT or Claude.
